UGREEN RJ45 Ethernet Coupler – Female to Female – 10GBPS – Space Grey – UGREEN 15117

Description

Running out of cable a metre short of the console does not mean replacing the whole run. This coupler joins the existing lead to a second one, and its 10Gbps rating means it will not become the slow point in a Cat 6A, Cat 7 or Cat 8 connection.

Key Features of the UGREEN RJ45 Ethernet Coupler

• Female to Female RJ45: Two sockets join two male-ended patch cables in a straight line, and either side can face the router.
• 10Gbps Rated: Handles 10Gbps links and stays backward compatible with 1000, 100 and 10Mbps equipment.
• Aluminium Alloy Shell: A space grey metal body that is durable and dissipates heat better than a plastic coupler.
• Secure Contacts: Gold-plated copper contacts and snap-in retaining clips hold each plug firmly in place.
• Cat 5 to Cat 8: Compatible with Cat 8, Cat 7, Cat 6A, Cat 6, Cat 5e and Cat 5 cables.
• Mind the 100 Metre Limit: The coupler joins cables but does not boost the signal, so keep both cables within 100 metres in total.

Quicker than re-running a whole cable when the existing one is only slightly too short.
